I am first and foremost a personal trainer and body transformation specialist…and I’m good at it. Being certified in Nutrition , TRX, Yoga and Cycle as well as Personal Training makes me very well rounded which is key to changing different body types and having success at all levels. I know from experience that in order for you and I to succeed in obtaining the body you desire, it takes more than some exercises barked out by a trainer a few times a week …it takes complete commitmentfrom the both of us …Nutrition lifestyle changes, workout plans both in FitCrew and when you are on your own, passive stretching session by me at the end of every training session, and me in your corner and available 24/7 throughout your journey. What makes me unique? I look at each individual client as a puzzle to solve. Creating exercise programs to maximize your workout efficiency, navigating your soul to see what drives you, and teaching through example leading you to achieve lifetime results!

Lauren Hobson

Embrace the shake! I know you’ve heard it before, and it’s a guarantee in my class!   I'm Lauren, an Arizona native, workout enthusiast, and elementary school teacher in Phoenix!  As I’m sure you can imagine… after being around kids all day, there’s nothing more that I look forward to, than having some adult time to teach my favorite barre class! I have been practicing barre since 2010.  After many years of dance in my adolescence, I was faced with persistent challenges with lower back injuries.  My hope was to find a workout that would tone, stretch, and strengthen my body, using safe exercises to support my weaknesses.  Barre was the perfect solution for me, and I’ve been practicing ever since! I believe the only way to change your mind and body is to find a workout that you feel passionate about, and of course put some hard work in!  That brings me to my purpose of joining the FitCrew family.  I’m here to motivate, teach, inspire, and challenge you.  And of course… we can have just a littleeee bit of fun while doing it!  If you’re looking for a class that has high energy, great music, a killer workout, and of course a just sprinkle of sarcasm from your favorite barre instructor… then come check it out, I’d love to meet you!

BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF! This is a statement that I live by and express to many people inside and outside of the gym daily. Too many of us look to others for a standard of what being fit and/or healthy “looks” like. My road to becoming certified in Nutrition, TRX, and Personal Training has been long, challenging, discouraging, and well worth it because I learned that we all have the ability to change the narrative and set our own standards. How do you do that? For those who don’t have an answer my mission is to help you find one in a way that makes sense to you through health and fitness. One-on-one to keep it private and personal, small group to share the journey with a friend or family, or a fun high energy class experience where you can challenge yourself and meet new people along the way. Whatever it takes, I’m here to join you on your journey and we can tailor a food and fitness model catered to you becoming the best version of yourself!

My goal is to help you make fitness a sustainable, core part of your life. Fitness is my daily therapy and its impact stretches far beyond a short-term fix or the desire to squeeze into an outfit, prep for swimsuit season, or “look good”. Fitness has transformed me from the outside in, a truly life changing process that I want to share with you. I have been training for over 20 years and earned a bachelors in nutrition. I am a registered dental hygienist, tennis instructor and am lagree certified, all off which are skills that allow me to bring diversity and energy to your fitness journey. When training with me, it is never simply a trainer/client environment, rather a complete, wholly invested partnership designed to cater to your specific needs, goals, and schedule through customized workout plans and nutrition guidance.
